Hippy Killer Garage.....

Needed some new grips today. So I'm pretty fortunate to be able to go to the Hippy Killer Garage every now and then. Hit Kutty up last night via email. Needed some of his metal flake grips for the Kz. Kutty has hooked me up with a couple of parts here and there in the past. He's a cool dude. Welcomed me in and let me take a gander at all of his rad shit going on. Does some pretty kick ass builds, and kicks me down with some knowledge. Check out his store buy some shit and show your support for your local garage builder http://www.hippykiller.com

Slims fab farm.....

So anybody in so cal whos into choppers or garage built customs knows who Slim is. I have heard about him for a couple of years now, and have seen his work around. And i can say i have only heard good things about his work. I needed a couple of things done to my recently new baby, the generator shovel. I have a welder but not enough experience in doing that kind of work myself. So i was looking for someone to do my hardtail, someone who knows there shit and wont rip me off. Most importantly someone who has time to shoot the shit with there customers so they can do exactly what they want. And while i was getting my tins done for the kz my painter hooked me up. So I got slims number about a month ago. Hit him up a couple of weeks later. Wasn't sure who I was gonna meet. Lets face it some of these biker builders are kind of douche bags. Called slim up super cool dude over the phone. He was excited to hook me up. Then I went to the farm and saw all the awesome shit he was doing. Lets just say that guy has one creative mind. All of his projects are some of the best shit I have ever seen. So I have my bike there getting a old school make over. Thanks Slim your the man!!!!!!!!   http://slimsfab.blogspot.com/

And got the tins painted. There looking pretty dope. And my new badass headlight.  Trying to get this thing done before the Hippy Killer Hoedown.

The new toy PANSHOVEL!!!!!!!

PANSHOVEL

here it is.... The beginning of my dream bike. Two years later....... I finally got the start of my dream bike. PANSHOVEL STD generator cases from Jesse. And now it begins. The beginning of a long journey. I have had a lot of ideas for this bike, but now it's time to start it and bring it to life.

Jesse and the panhead

So this is the guy I got my first Harley from. His name is Jesse. I put an ad on craigslist saying "sell me your sportster, I have money burning a hole in my pocket". And he was the one who replied with " I got a sporty come check it out". Well I had $3000 ready to go.... Then sure enough my car broke down that week. cost me $500 to put a new water pump in. this was after I had already told Jesse I would be there in a couple of days to buy the sporty. I called him up and said, man i really want the bike but my car broke down and I only have $2500...... Well he said can you come and get it today?.... I said hell yea!! "well come get your new bike boy".  So I went to his house, Met Jesse and drove home my new to me sportster in the back of my buddy's truck. she was ugly but I already new what I was going to do to her. Jesse was one of the coolest  bikers I have ever met. hes a good dude who knows a shit ton about old harleys. He has some of the coolest shit I have seen in someones garage. Parts every where, enough to completely build a bike or two, and a good amount of his own bikes lying around that hes working on. But the one thing that stays in my head is the bad ass original panhead hes has. after seeing that bike I now know what my dream bike is.... I hope that one day Jesse and I can do a couple of bike runs, I know he has to have a shit ton of stories....
