70's chopper style

So I'm going total old school on this one. No front brake, rear drum, big bars, raked like a motherfucker. I never liked choppers till found the true meaning of choppers. You see I'm not old enough to have seen the real choppers from the 60's and 70's. So the only thing I know about is the gay shit the orange county choppers puts out and etc....Someone had told me about a movie called choppertown, I was skeptical about it cause it wasn't my scene, but then it became my gas that got my motor running. I read a lot of street chopper magazine and that is also a big inspiration. See I don't believe in have a motorcycle that you don't ride. to me whats the point. Im into the shit you can ride, I don't even care if its an old classic that shouldn't be touched, If its mine I'm going to ride it. So this is going to be my old school bike.....

Two seater now

So I decided to put a sissy bar and back seat on El Chingon. My chick wanted to go for a ride and sitting on a fender isnt very comfortable. I had a P-pad I had bought off ebay about six months ago just in case. Had a fender a buddy gave me sitting around, and the sissy bar was obtained when I got the two sportys. I can honestly say that I think she looks better with a back seat and a sissy bar. The real funny thing is, its a more comfortable ride with someone on the back..

New projects

So here are the two new projects added to the collection. Two old sportys, both kickers. One will be a raked out chopper when its done, the other will be a bad ass little bobber/bar hopper(for a good friend on mine). Got these from the guy who sold me my first harley sportster. Hes a pretty cool and generous guy who hooked me up cause he likes what im into. He dosent really deal with the sportys, but  he builds some pretty bad ass pan heads though. Got some work ahead of me.......

body work

AHHHHH the joys of body work. So a buddy of mine asked me to fill some holes on his fenders. Sounds easier than it actually is. So finally started to use bondo and welding a little. Its harder than it looks. So got the holes patched up with some 1/8" steel pieces I made. Joe has been teaching me how to weld and use bondo the right way. Oh and here is my first real weld that i have done so far. BODY WORK SUCKS but its worth it...... primer tomorrow.
